11/10/08 We launch Clarence Dock with Gok and aquatic fashion
This weekend has been a huge celebration for Clarence Dock in Leeds. This regenerated part of the city centre is host to a major mixed use development by our client Crosby Lend Lease. The key assets in this beautiful waterside area are cutting edge fashion retailers including Diesel, Rock, All Saints, G-Star and Aspecto. The site also boasts a series of high end restaurants, a state of the art casino and the famous Royal Armouries. Ear to the Ground was briefed with developing a creative concept that would showcase the area and really put it on the Leeds map. Our response was to create a catwalk that actually floated on the water. We then added a stylish Saddlespan marquee structure and introduced a large format LED wall to add real drama to the event. Special guest was the inimitable Gok Wan (How to Look Good Naked) who sent the audience of 7,000 into an absolute frenzy when he hit the stage. Ear to the Ground were also responsible for all choreography and styling of the show which ran throughout the day. Once again Ear to the Ground have created an engaging piece of event content that is true to the brand, drives huge footfall and generates massive media response.
