13/09/08 We build ‘BBC Proms in the Park’

The Northern leg of the Proms season ended in spectacular style last night. Opera singer and local hero Russell Watson was accompanied by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra to entertain a crowd of 8,000 in a beautiful outdoor arena. Ear to the Ground was responsible for delivering all production aspects of the event from security to staging. Our client was Salford City Council who were incredibly happy that the event ran so smoothly. As the traditional flags waved after sunset, an impressive pyrotechnic display lit up the northern skies. A lovely ending to a quintessentially British Affair.
