Install the world’s smallest velodrome in a unique environment and bring Red Bull’s ‘Mini Drome’ campaign to life in an interesting way.
The Red Bull Mini Drome offered a unique challenge to fixed gear riders designed to engage both body and mind as they navigated a unique and technically challenging course. We hosted it in a Victorian Swimming pool! The track was kept to the same dimensions as a conventional cycling track, but on a much smaller scale, and was purpose engineered in Germany by the team who built the velodromes for the Atlanta Olympics and the Delhi Commonwealth Games.
We produced the installation of the velodrome in the listed Victoria Baths in Manchester, managing all lighting, staging, AV and technical production for the event as well as all aspects of health and safety.
Two hundred and fifty specially invited fans and media watched live and felt the intense adrenalin of this high octane activation.
Branded and user generated content from the event spread via social media channels with hits on Red Bull’s You Tube channel reaching 25,000 views.
